Book your Moselle vacation with one of the participating accommodation providers and use the free ticket to set off on hikes, city visits, wine tastings and other leisure activities.
- The GuestTicket is free of charge and only available from participating hosts
- The GästeTicket is your free ticket for bus and train travel on regional services (RE and RB) in 2nd class throughout the VRT area.
When leaving the VRT area, you may need a follow-up ticket. - The GuestTicket is valid for the entire duration of your stay, including the day of arrival and departure.
- The GuestTicket is available to all overnight guests of participating hosts aged 6 and over. (Children under the age of 6 travel free of charge on public transport)
The GuestTicket is only valid for passenger transportation.
Bicycle transportation:
On weekdays after 9 a.m. and on weekends and public holidays, you can take your bicycle on buses and trains free of charge. However, please note that wheelchairs and baby carriages have priority, which is why we cannot guarantee that they can be taken on board, especially on buses. Transport is therefore only possible if capacity is available.Special regulations apply to the RadBuses (transportation of bicycles on trailers or rear bicycle racks). Further information on the RadBussen can be found at www.radbusse.de.
The Trier Region Transport Association
With the GästeTicket, you can use buses and trains free of charge throughout the VRT area up to the Luxembourg border (free public transport in Luxembourg).
Since August 1, there are additional routes for bus and train!
The area of validity of the “VRT-GästeTicket” has been extended. From August, the GuestTicket will also be valid on the following rail routes as well as the sections of bus routes outside the VRT:
- Palzem to Perl railroad line
- Bengel to Cochem railroad line
- Line 700 Gerolstein - Daun - Ulmen - Cochem
- Line 720 Traben-Trarbach - Zell - Bullay
