2026 Middle Moselle Wine Festival

For five days, centered around the first Sunday in September, Bernkastel-Kues transforms into a festive stage for wine, indulgence, and joie de vivre. That’s when the Middle Mosel Wine Festival takes place—one of the most traditional and beautiful wine festivals on the Mosel.
Highlights include the ceremonial coronation of the Mosella, the delightful Wine Route, the lively carnival, and the colorful fireworks display. Another special experience is the traditional wine festival parade, featuring numerous lovingly decorated floats and imaginative marching groups.
A varied supporting program ensures top-notch entertainment, featuring the popular “Moselblümchen Meets Winzerkittel” evening, live music, and an atmospheric wine-tasting evening.
