Original compositions and arrangements: Grammy-nominated mandolin virtuoso Avi Avital joins forces with multi-award-winning jazz pianist Omer Klein. Together, they bridge the gap between classical music and jazz—with original pieces, Israeli songs, and freely interpreted jazz numbers.
A special highlight: Avital’s arrangement of Bach’s Partita for Solo Violin, which, through Klein’s improvisations, takes on a whole new, inspiring interpretation.

Zeltingen’s market square transforms into a real stage—and what makes it so special? It’s not professionals in the spotlight here, but the locals themselves. With plenty of enthusiasm, genuine wit, and a healthy dose of passion, they bring the operetta “Zeltinger Himmelreich” to life—a play about what defines the Moselle: wine.
The story takes place in the year 1780: The winegrowers in the Electorate of Cologne’s district of Zeltingen-Rachtig rebel against their sovereign, the Elector of Cologne. They refuse to hand over the tithe they owe—the finest wines from the legendary vineyards of Himmelreich, Schloßberg, Sonnenuhr, and Deutschherrenberg. Their excuse: The wine is so sour this year that it could never be served at court.
When an envoy from the Elector suddenly shows up in person to inspect the quality, there’s quite a commotion. But the clever winemakers have a plan—and it’s a doozy. And of course, no story would be complete without a love story…
