Following this year’s successful debut, it’s time for the second edition: From March 12 to 21, 2027, Bernkastel-Kues will once again transform into a colorful spring festival—warm, lively, and full of Moselle charm.
Look forward to special promotions from restaurants, hotels, and retailers, culinary highlights, charming spring decorations, and a varied program of events. The program is currently being planned together with our partners and will continue to expand in the coming weeks.

March 12–14: Fashion & Shopping
Shopping, strolling, enjoying – The shopping experience in Bernkastel-Kues
March 13: Fashion Day with a Fashion Show
Experience a day that combines fashion and style into an unforgettable shopping experience. The stores in Bernkastel-Kues are opening their doors to showcase their latest collections—from the latest trends to timeless favorites. Browse through attractive offers, enjoy personalized advice, and let yourself be surprised by exclusive promotions and events at the participating stores.
4:00–5:00 p.m.: Fashion show on the market square
The highlight of Fashion Day: an impressive fashion show featuring Bernkastel’s local businesses—right in the heart of the city, set against the charming half-timbered backdrop of the historic market square. For one hour, the square transforms into a runway, showcasing the best the local fashion scene has to offer.
5:00–9:00 p.m.: Vino & Vogue – Enjoyable Shopping Until 9:00 p.m.
The evening is all about a special shopping experience: At “Vino & Vogue,” Mosel wine and fashion come together for an atmospheric evening of shopping. Stroll through the illuminated alleys of the Old Town while participating stores stay open for you until 9:00 p.m. A glass of regional Riesling in hand, the latest collections in view—that’s what makes shopping fun.
March 14: "Primelsonntag"—Shopping Sunday
The shops in Bernkastel-Kues invite you to take a leisurely stroll, shop, and enjoy yourself. Experience a springtime walk through the historic old town—with attractive offers, thoughtfully planned promotions, and plenty of moments of enjoyment.
For the first 1,500 visitors: As a springtime greeting, you’ll receive a free primrose—available at the market square and at the Kueser Brückenkopf.
March 19–21: Wine & Indulgence

March 20: Music Night & Laser and Light Show
Music Night
A diverse selection of live music awaits you at participating restaurants, pubs, and wine bars—ranging from cozy and relaxed to rousing and energetic. Whether it’s a DJ, a duo, or a larger ensemble—there’s something for every taste. Stroll through the alleys of the Old Town and let the sounds of the evening carry you through the city.
Laser and Light Show | 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
From the Bernkastel Moselle Bridge, the Moselle River and its surrounding vineyards are bathed in an impressive light show. An atmospheric laser and light installation illuminates downtown Bernkastel—a sight you won’t soon forget.
Stroll through the alleys of the old town, enjoy the live music, and experience an impressive spectacle of light and laser beams from the Moselle Bridge.
Boat Parade and Cruise Day
The “Bernkastel-Kues blüht auf!” festival will conclude with a special Sunday on and along the Moselle—featuring a festive boat parade and the 2nd Cruise Day in Bernkastel-Kues.
Boat Parade | 1:00 p.m.
A festive boat parade welcomes spring in a very special way. In collaboration with Gebr. Kolb OHG Passenger Boat Service and the Bernkastel 2000 e.V. Boat Club, this highlight on the water creates a striking spectacle—an atmospheric kickoff to the final day of the Spring Opening.
Cruise Day | 2:30 p.m.
At the Zylinderhaus—the Nostalgia & Classic Car Museum—the 2nd Cruise Day in Bernkastel-Kues kicks off. Classic car enthusiasts are cordially invited to showcase their vehicles—whether lovingly restored or preserved in their original condition—against a picturesque backdrop right on the Moselle. The group drive will wind through Kues to the historic market square in Bernkastel, where the vehicles will then be displayed to the public in an atmospheric setting.
In addition, a colorful program of events with a variety of activities and attractions awaits you in the picturesque old town of Bernkastel-Kues.
