Baroque music in the Bernkastel-Kues vacation region

For three days in November, baroque music of the highest quality will be performed at machernbaroque - presented by outstanding artists in and around one of the most beautiful and sonorous concert halls in the Moselle region.

Selected works of baroque music are on the program when concert manager Dr. Dörte Reisener and the founding director of the Moselle Music Festival Hermann Lewen invite you to take a special journey through the soundscapes of this era for the first time. In a special place, the baroque hall of Machern Monastery near Bernkastel-Kues. Acoustically, it is one of the best that the Moselle region has to offer and has therefore been a stage for world-class artists for decades.

Lively, expressive and full of playfulness and sensuality, the new concert format machernbaroque will be launched just in time for the first Advent in 2026. From November 27 to 29, internationally acclaimed performers such as the Lautten Compagney Berlin, countertenor Valer Sabadus, recorder player Stefan Temmingh and pianist Martin Stadtfeld will be making guest appearances.

Look forward to a weekend that will get you in the festive mood for the Advent and Christmas season.

As seating capacity is limited, we recommend reserving seats in good time. Tickets are available at www.machernbarock.de.
