The Moselle-Camino - On the trail of the Way of St. James
The Moselle-Camino is a total of 160 kilometers long. As part of the Way of St. James to Santiago de Compostela, its 8 stages lead from Koblenz to Trier.
A charming and varied route through the unique Moselle cultural landscape promises unforgettable, contemplative and impressive impressions and memories.
First you walk from Koblenz past imposing castles such as Thurant Castle and Eltz Castle as well as places worth seeing such as Beilstein and Zell to Traben-Trarbach with the ruins of Grevenburg Castle.
The Moselle-Camino then takes you from Traben-Trarbach via the medieval town of Bernkastel-Kues along the Moselle, sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right bank of the river, to Trier, the oldest city in Germany. St. Matthias Abbey is the destination of your hiking tour. Here you will find the only apostle's tomb north of the Alps, which you can visit with contemplation and reverence at the end of your pilgrimage.
