Mosel Music Festival: Karl-Heinz Steffens & Friends

A perfect start! Experience Karl-Heinz Steffens & Friends live at Machern Monastery - a musical treat. "The Lüxem Music Society was my musical family," says Karl-Heinz Steffens looking back. And here, too, the clarinet became his instrument, with which his career soon took off: with his soulful, precious, beautiful tone, he became a celebrated solo clarinettist in the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, then with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. But in 2007, Karl-Heinz Steffens packed up his instrument and took up the baton, first becoming General Music Director in Halle and then leading the German State Philharmonic Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate.

On Sunday, May 4, Bernkastel-Kues will once again be filled with laughter, amazement and enthusiasm: the Werbekreis presents the 7th edition of BERNKASTEL LACHT - a special kind of street theater festival that attracts visitors from near and far.
with a captivating mix of comedy, music, artistry, magic and even archery, 5 artists ensure astonished faces, loud laughter and lots of good humor. Visitors have the opportunity to experience all the artists at different times on the two squares, Marktplatz and Karlsbader Platz.
Admission is free, but the artists are happy to receive a donation in their hats. BERNKASTEL LACHT is a special kind of shopping experience not to be missed. Come to Bernkastel-Kues on May 4 between 1 and 6 p.m., enjoy the colorful street theater and combine it with a relaxed shopping spree through the historic old town!
