Bernkastel-Kues - The climatic health resort with a modern spa park
Bernkastel-Kues is not only known for its excellent wines, but also for its healthy climate. The air on the Kues plateau is therapeutically effective and the Moselle town has held the title of "climatic health resort" since 2005. Bernkastel-Kues is also a first-class center for rehabilitation with 4 MEDIAN clinics .
The spa park is located in the immediate vicinity of the spa clinics. Spa gardens have a long tradition in German spas and health resorts. In this day and age of sensory overload, places of retreat in a natural setting are more important than ever. The newly designed Bernkastel-Kues spa park combines the tradition of spa park facilities with modern horticultural and landscape architectural highlights. Since its opening in May 2024, it has already joined the ranks of Germany's most beautiful spa parks with the green Park im Kurort® seal of approval!
Entrance portals
Colorful blossoming trees, lush planting and attractive seating invite you to take a moment of silence and pause right at the entrance to the spa gardens.
Climate pavilion
The healing climate has been proven to strengthen body and mind and can have a gentle preventative effect. The factors range from the sensation of cool and fresh air, so-called cold stimuli, to an increased intensity of solar radiation, which in this way strengthens the user's immune system. The climate pavilion is a place where you can take a deep breath and slow down your mind and soul.

Next to the pond with its lively flora and fauna is the moor garden in the area of the silted-up eastern pond. This rounds off the water-oriented part of the open space. Moors are ecologically important landscape elements and provide a unique habitat for rare animal and plant species. They are also effective carbon reservoirs and have a high nature experience value.
