Day 1: Individual journey to Koblenz
You travel individually to Koblenz. We recommend traveling by train. Take plenty of time to visit Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and one of Koblenz's landmarks, the Deutsches Eck, the headland where the Moselle flows into the Rhine and where the imposing equestrian monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I was erected.

Day 2: from Koblenz to Alken (Moselle Camino stage 1)
Length: 18 km, difficulty: medium
You start at the ferry pier on the banks of the Rhine in Koblenz-Stolzenfels. Follow the yellow scallop shell on a blue background. You should not miss the opportunity to visit Stolzenfels Castle on your hike. The first stage of your hike takes you uphill - now on the Hunsrück side - via Waldesch to your destination of Alken, where you can enjoy a relaxing end to the first day.

Day 3: from Alken to Treis-Karden (Moselle Camino stage 2)
Length: 17 km, difficulty: medium
Before continuing this morning, it is worth making a detour to Thurant Castle, which towers above the village. You cross the Moselle bridge and reach Löf, now back on the Eifel side. From here, it is only 3 km to Hatzenport. Passing prominent points such as the "Küppchen", the route leads along the box tree hiking trail, with its wonderful views of the Moselle valley, to your stage destination of Treis-Karden.

Day 4: from Treis-Karden to Bullay (Moselle Camino stage 3)
Length: 28 km, difficulty: difficult
You walk through the district of Karden and cross the Moselle to Treis. The Moselle Camino then takes you up to the so-called "Birkenkopf". The Maria Engelport monastery is definitely worth the climb! Visit this place of pilgrimage for Catholics and take a short break here. After another 2 km you reach Beilstein, also known as the "Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle". Immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of this idyllic village. The destination of today's stage hike is Bullay.

Day 5: from Bullay to Traben-Trarbach (Moselle Camino stage 4)
Length: 23 km, Difficulty: difficult
After a fresh and refreshed start, you will reach your first intermediate destination, the Marienburg Castle in Zell, after around 3 km. Here, too, there are fantastic views over the Zell Moselle valley. The "Prinzenkopf" observation tower and the nearby cemetery of honor are just a few minutes' walk away. The Moselle Camino continues to Zell an der Mosel. Visit the town center with the "Zeller Schwarze Katz" fountain. You reach Enkirch via the "Bummkopf". The magnificent panoramic trail takes you via the Grevenburg ruins to Traben-Trarbach. The Art Nouveau village with its Buddha Museum, Moselle thermal baths and underworld is looking forward to welcoming you!
