Hiking on the Moselle Camino 2

Moselle Camino 2 from Traben-Trarbach to Trier - stages 5 to 8

Over a distance of around 70 kilometers, the Moselle Camino takes you from Traben-Trarbach, one of the most beautiful wine villages in the region, along the Moselle to the historic city of Trier, the oldest city in Germany. This pilgrimage route offers a varied and fascinating journey through one of the most picturesque landscapes in Germany. The route runs partly on the left and partly on the right bank of the Moselle, revealing impressive views of the gentle vineyards that stretch along the river valley.

A special highlight of your pilgrimage is a visit to St. Matthias Abbey in Trier, the end point of the Moselle Camino. This abbey is not only a place of contemplation, but also houses the only apostle's tomb north of the Alps.
