Nature tour in Doctorweinberg - Explorer tour for big and small guests
The Moselle and the vineyards shape the landscape around Bernkastel-Kues. Over a distance of about 2 km, we hike on the educational trail "Lizard loves Riesling" through the vineyards above the town. Due to the Mediterranean climate, we find a lush flora and fauna alongside the vines in the slate-covered, partly very steep vineyards. Through nature- and culture-related stories, the children learn about the annual cycle of the vine, discover the connections between weather and growth, and explore the biodiversity in the vine rows and dry stone walls of the Moselle vineyards with all their senses.
