Harvest Festival at the Birnfeld Winery – Enjoyment, Music & Wine Experiences by the Mosel

The event kicks off on Friday with a special culinary experience: a wine raclette night, which can only be attended with prior registration. On the terrace of the Birnfeld Winery, set against the backdrop of the Mosel slopes, guests can expect special tables with hot plates and large pans where you can prepare your own raclette
Ingredients: four types of cheese from regional dairies, four types of meat from local farms, various vegetables and fruits, as well as a selection of spices
Pans: as many as you like
Beverages: a diverse selection of wines from the Birnfeld Winery, including Mosel Riesling, Blanc de Noir, and Rotling, along with non-alcoholic drinks such as grape juice and water. You decide what we may serve you.
Hosts: Winemaker Jan Birnfeld and cheese sommelier Wolfgang Fusenig will be there for you all evening

On Saturday, visitors can also expect a special highlight: the wine experience "By Ship to the Wine Tasting and Back" (also requires registration). At 12:30 p.m., the boat trip starts from Bernkastel to Lieser. There, guests will be personally welcomed by the winemaker with a welcome drink. A walk over the flood protection dam with a view of Lieser Castle leads to the wine shop, where five wines, exciting insights into the cellar and vineyard, as well as interesting facts about wine await. Afterwards, it will be back to Bernkastel by boat.

Regardless, the harvest festival is open to all visitors from 1 p.m.

The Sunday ends on a relaxed note.

On Saturday and Sunday, the bar will be open from 1 p.m.. The offerings include fine Mosel wines, refreshing wine cocktails, and coffee and waffles.

A bouncy castle is available for children.

On both days, Grill & Party Service Jakoby will take care of your culinary needs.
