By boat to the wine tasting and back
Experience a beautiful time around the Moselle, the wine, and the passion of the winemaker.
By boat, you will travel from Bernkastel-Kues to the charming neighboring village of Lieser (approximately 20 minutes travel time). There, you will be picked up by the winemaker at the landing stage below the dam gate. After a welcoming drink, you will walk together along the flood protection dam with a splendid view of the Moselle and the historic castle of Lieser. Once you arrive at the wine shop of the Birnfeld vineyard, the wine tasting will continue. During the tasting, you will gain insights into the wine cellar and vineyard and learn interesting facts about the wines, viticulture, and the winemaker's year. After the wine tasting, you will then independently return to the landing stage, where you will be picked up by the boat again and taken back to Bernkastel-Kues.

Cancellation is free up to 7 days before the event date.
For cancellations made 7 days or less before the event date, a 100% cancellation fee applies.
The wine experience starts at 12:30 PM with a boat trip from Bernkastel to Lieser. After the wine tasting, cellar and vineyard tour, the boat will return from Lieser to Bernkastel at 3:50 PM.
Individual and additional appointments can be requested at any time by email at the winery info@weingut-birnfeld.de, by phone at 06531/3253, or on the website weingut-birnfeld.de.
Please note that the tour will only take place if a minimum number of 8 participants is reached. Groups may also be combined for this purpose.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour at short notice if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will contact you in good time to discuss possible alternatives.
