A small winegrowing village in the immediate vicinity of Bernkastel-Kues. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of a hospitable village, the proximity to the Moselle and the wines from heavenly vineyards such as the "Graacher Himmelreich" or the "Graacher Domprobst". Graach on the Moselle is known for its literally "excellent" and hospitable winegrowers and top wines. The village's location, away from the main road but still within walking distance of Bernkastel-Kues, with the vineyards behind it and a view of the Moselle, has a long history of winegrowing. In the two-street village typical of the Moselle, you will discover houses built from slate on a short tour of the village. You will see old half-timbered houses and hidden fountains. Visit the church of St. Simon and Judah and enjoy the silence inside.

the district of Graach-Schäferei, situated above the vineyards, impresses with its spectacular views of the Moselle valley. The two hiking trails, the "Graacher Schanzenweg" and the "Himmelreich-Wanderweg" start just above the village. Along the vineyards or over the Graacher Schanzen, they show you the beauty of the forest and at vantage points such as "Maria Zill" or "Auf Hahn", far-reaching views of the Moselle landscape and the adjacent wine villages.
Along the Moselle, use the scenic Moselle cycle path for your bike tours or try one of the many cycle tour suggestions on the interactive map. And you can take the boat or bus back to your accommodation on the way back from your tour. Our winegrowers and restaurateurs will also be happy to spoil you with good wine and delicious food!

Have you heard

Graach belonged to the Electorate of Trier until the end of the 18th century. During the "French period", the village belonged to the canton of Bernkastel in the Saar department, after the Congress of Vienna it became part of the Kingdom of Prussia.
