When the Moselle becomes a stage, something special begins. Every year from July through October, the Mosel Music Festival transforms the Mosel region into a world-class concert destination: International artists perform at extraordinary venues—in historic monastery ruins, atmospheric wineries, medieval churches, and romantic courtyards.
Bernkastel-Kues is an integral part of the festival. In the Baroque Hall of Machern Abbey, at the Church of the Holy Spirit, in the Moselle floodplains, or right in the middle of a vineyard, classical, jazz, and world music come together—always paired with the enjoyment of fine Moselle wines and the unique charm of our town.
