Philosophy and technology working group
At the centre of the working group is the question: What is technology? Or: What is the essence of technology? Or: What is the general or common feature of the great variety of special technologies?
Or: What is the general or common aspect of the great variety of special techniques? This also raises the question of what answers the classics can provide us regarding the challenges of contemporary techniques, for example, those posed by digitalization, artificial intelligence, and autonomous vehicles.
A cooperation project of the APHIN (Working Group of Philosophizing Engineers and Natural Scientists) and the Kueser Academy for European Intellectual History.
