Mosel Musikfestival: Kammerata Luxembourg
40 years of Kammerata Luxembourg: Masterpieces & sound enjoyment in the stylish ambiance of Schloss Lieser
A collective for chamber music culture
With its regular and artistically ambitious season program, Kammerata Luxembourg has established itself as an important player in the Luxembourg music scene. In the 2025/26 season, the ensemble will celebrate its 40th anniversary – and thus four decades of commitment to vibrant and accessible chamber music.
The string trio of the ensemble will impressively confirm this on the evening with works by Bach, Dohnányi, and van Beethoven in the Castle of Lieser with its impressive architecture.
As an artist collective, Kammerata Luxembourg is firmly rooted in the program of Luxembourg cultural institutions, contributing to a diverse professional cultural landscape. Founded in 1985, the ensemble plays an important role in promoting chamber music in Luxembourg. It advocates for professionalism, interdisciplinarity, decentralization of culture, integration of young professional artists, and the promotion of Luxembourg's cultural creation. In addition to its traditional chamber concerts, the ensemble organizes its own events around the artistic director and president Sandrine Cantoreggi, such as the festival "MusicDays Vianden." In collaboration with various cultural partners and through interdisciplinary projects such as music theater, performances for children and young people, and music projects in connection with photography or other exhibitions, Kammerata Luxembourg supplements this diverse offering.
