Farm festival at the Birnfeld Winery

From June 5th to 7th, the Birnfeld Winery invites you to a festive courtyard celebration in Lieser. For three days, everything revolves around good wine, culinary delights, music, and social gatherings – right in the winery.

Harvest Festival at the Birnfeld Winery – Enjoyment, Music & Wine Experiences at the Moselle

The kickoff is on Friday with a summer wine tasting, which can only be attended with prior registration. Guests can look forward to eight selected wines, accompanied by roast suckling pig with salad variations (a vegetarian alternative is available upon request) and fresh baguette. Additional entertainment will be provided by a humorous Mosel dialect bingo with a small prize.

On Saturday, visitors can expect a special highlight: the wine experience "By boat to the wine tasting and back" (also only with prior registration). At 12:30 PM, the boat trip departs from Bernkastel to Lieser. There, guests will be personally greeted by the winemaker with a welcome drink. A walk along the flood protection dam with a view of Lieser Castle leads to the wine shop, where five wines, exciting insights into the cellar and vineyard, and interesting information about wine await. Afterwards, the ship will return to Bernkastel.

Regardless, the harvest festival is open to all visitors from 1 PM. From 6 PM, a DJ will provide a lively atmosphere and dancing until the night at “Wine & Hits”.

The Sunday winds down relaxingly: From 4:30 PM, the acoustic duo Doppelpunkt will accompany the afternoon with live music.

On Saturday and Sunday, the bar will open daily from 1 PM. Featured will be fine Moselle wines, refreshing wine cocktails, as well as coffee and waffles. A bouncy castle will be available for children. Additionally, there will be a raffle with attractive prizes, including: a voucher for 2 people for the wine experience by boat (date of choice), a hike with alpacas for 2 people, wine presentations.

On both days, Grill & Party Service Jakoby will take care of culinary delights.
