The St. Nikolaus Hospital, also known as Cusanusstift, is an important cultural monument with a fascinating history. In this informative tour, you will gain exciting insights into the historic building, its impressive furnishings, and the eventful past of this centuries-old institution.
At the center stands the founder Nikolaus of Cues, a significant philosopher, theologian, and humanist of the 15th century. His ideas and work continue to shape the institution to this day. A special highlight is the world-famous library, which is among the most valuable manuscript collections in Europe.
