Out into the vines - Wine hike on 17.10.26
Hike through the vineyards of Zeltingen-Rachtig: from the sundial, to Schlossberg and through Himmelreich!
At 5 wine stations along the way, there are 2 wines each to taste from a selection of 4-5 wines.
Small snacks are also available at the stations (not included in the price)
You are welcome to bring your own food.
The 5 wineries are: Weingut Ackermann, Weingut Gundolf Haubs, Weingut Leos, Weingut Rainer Pazen, and Weingut Thiesen
Additionally, there are 3 experience tours:
- Christiane Reis-Keller, cultural and wine ambassador, 12:00 p.m. from Marktplatz Zeltingen
- Larissa Haubs, winemaker and former wine queen, 1:30 p.m. from Sortengarten
- Ulla Kappes, (aspiring) nature and landscape guide, 3:00 p.m. from Wassertretbecken
Free arrival and departure with the VRT-KombiTicket on bus line 360 from Traben-Trarbach or Bernkastel-Kues to Zeltingen Tourist Info or Rachtig L189. Also only within the districts of Zeltingen and Rachtig. Additionally, with bus 300 from Daun and Wittlich to Zeltingen Tourist Info. But also throughout the entire VRT area by bus and train.
Paid parking is available at the Mosel banks in Zeltingen and Gestade Rachtig

The glass distribution and the stamp card can be obtained between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at two starting points instead:
- Tourist Information Zeltingen, Uferallee 10 in Zeltingen
- Sängerheim Rachtig, Gestadenstraße 5 in Rachtig
- Participation in the event "Out into the Vines"
- 10 wine tastings (2 samples at 5 stations)
- Wine glass
- Participation in three experience tours
- Free travel to and from by bus and train within the VRT
Adult: €28.00 per person
The glass distribution takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the 5 wine stands in the vineyards can be visited.
The three experiential tours start at:
- 12:00 p.m. at the marketplace in Zeltingen with Christiane Reis-Keller, cultural and wine ambassador
- 1:30 p.m. at the variety garden with Larissa Haubs, winemaker and former wine queen
- 3:00 p.m. at the water tread pool with Ulla Kappes, (aspiring) nature and landscape guide
After your booking, you will automatically receive a booking confirmation.
Additionally, once your booking has been processed, you will receive your event ticket as a voucher in a separate email.

If you are traveling by car, you will find paid parking spaces at the Moselle bank in Zeltingen and the bank in Rachtig.
