Directions
For example, hike from Wintrich along the Moselle to Brauneberg. Leave Brauneberg via the Nußbaumallee and past the Simultankirche church and continue along the former Moselle railway line to Mülheim. From here the hiking trail leads along a beautiful brook valley to Veldenz, where you can discover traces of the Romans in the Villa Romana. The hiking trail continues below the wooded mountain slope along a beautiful forest and meadow path to Burgen. Over one of the many Frohnbach valley bridges you leave the village and reach the Burgener Flur with a wonderful view of the Moselle valley and the Hunsrück heights. A forest path leads down into the Brelitz brook valley and up to the Wintricher Höhe. With a view of the Moselle valley, the trail then descends again to the wine village of Wintrich.Public transit
