Rundwanderung Minheimer Wald an der Mosel

At 3.5 kilometers is the shortest hiking trail in the region. Mostly on flat paths, it leads through forest and vineyard paths above the Moselle village of Minheim.
On the wide forest and vineyard paths you can easily walk the tour in one hour.Insights into the hiking tour:Already on the way to the start of the hike there are beautiful views of the Moselle landscape along the panorama road. With the barbecue and shelter "Em Kreschelenkamp" as a starting point, there is the opportunity for a rest right at the beginning. The hike then leads through the landscape on forest and vineyard paths.There are no rest stops along the way, but the above-mentioned barbecue and shelter hut is perfect for a rest at the beginning and end of the tour.

Directions
From the parking lot at the Minheimer grill and refuge hut "Em Kreschelenkamp" you walk gently up a forest path. After approx. 800 meters, the path branches off to the right and circles the Moselhöhe, which is 364 meters above sea level. The path then takes you a short distance through the vineyards and back to the starting point.

Please note that the buses do not always stop in Minheim but, depending on the connection, at the Minheim bridge (opposite side of the Moselle).

Parking possibility at the grill / shelter "Em Kreschelenkamp
Tip
In Minheim there is a small village shop where you can buy backpacks: the grill and shelter "Em Kreschelenkamp", right on the hiking trail, is ideal for this. Short, safe route, no special safety instructions.
Equipment
Hiking or trekking shoes are sufficient, backpacks if necessary.
