Directions
Start, for example, in Burgen, the place of many bridges and walk along the Frohnbach through a beautiful meadow valley to the small village Hirzlei. Passing the small village chapel, you walk uphill along the Kieselbornerbach. Halfway up, the hiking tour then leads you along forest paths up to the top of the hill to the "Kasholz" housing estate. Along the Rondellbach the path leads down into the Moselle valley to Wintrich. Make a stop at the "Wintricher Großer Herrgott" and enjoy the panoramic view. The trail continues through the vineyards down to the village of Wintrich. At the town hall of the municipality the hiking trail then leads uphill to the Wintricher Höhe and you continue down into the Brelitz stream valley. A forest path leads you to the "Burgener Flur" with beautiful views of the Moselle valley and the Hunsrück heights. A field path leads you back to Burgen.Public transit
