Zeltinger Sonnenuhr - sundial

This sundial is the largest sundial in a German vineyard and is considered the oldest sundial on the Moselle.

The Zeltinger Sundial was built in 1620 by an abbot of the Himmerod Monastery and is the largest sundial in a German vineyard. On a sunny day, you can read all the hours on it. It is located in the wine region named after it, Zeltinger Sonnenuhr and is considered the oldest sundial of the Moselle.
