Winery Martin Schömann
The Martin Schömann winery is located in the Moselle village of Zeltingen-Rachtig. The estate has been in family ownership for generations, since 1642 to be precise, and the vineyards are located in the area around Zeltingen-Rachtig.
This includes the Zeltinger Himmelreich, the Zeltinger Schlossberg, and the Zeltinger Sundial, as well as the Graacher Himmelreich. Riesling is the most commonly grown grape variety, complemented by Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. The wines are stored in oak barrels in the cool rock cellar of the winery. The quality of the wines has been confirmed with the Eco Winner award from EcoVin and two stars from Eichelmann.
