Winery Martin Schömann

The Martin Schömann winery is located in the Moselle village of Zeltingen-Rachtig. The winery has been in the family for generations, since 1642 to be exact. The vineyards are located in the area around Zeltingen-Rachtig. These include the Zeltinger Himmelreich, the Zeltinger Schloßberg and the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr as well as the Graacher Himmelreich. Riesling is the most common grape grown, complemented by Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. The wines are stored in oak barrels in the cool rock cellar of the winery. The quality of the wines has been confirmed with the Eco Winner award from EcoVin and two Eichelmann stars.
