The winery Markus Molitor is located amidst the vineyards of the Wehlener Klosterberg on the Middle Moselle.

The Markus Molitor winery is located in the middle of the Wehlener Klosterberg vineyards on the Middle Moselle. The Riesling, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc grape varieties are cultivated on more than 20 spectacular steep slopes along the river (some of which are planted with ancient vines) with uncompromising manual labor and absolute respect for nature. A late harvest and strict selection of the individual berries lead to the lowest possible yields. In line with the philosophy of naturalness, site characteristics, complexity and storage potential, all wines are fermented exclusively spontaneously, mostly in large wooden barrels - without the use of stabilizing measures or the addition of additives. Wines from Markus Molitor express the almost infinite diversity of Mosel Riesling in a unique interplay of fruit and minerality, sweetness and acidity.
