Winery Karl O. Pohl

The Karl O. Pohl winery harvests its Riesling in the famous slate steep slopes of the Middle Mosel in Wehlen, Graach, Bernkastel, and Maring.

Straightforward, lively wines that are characterized by fine fermentation carbon dioxide and pronounced fruit acidity. When aging the wines, care is taken to ensure their cellaring potential, so that the wines can still shine with great freshness even after many years.
The winery has a 400-year tradition and is run by Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Pohl.
In the estate wine room at Uferallee 4a, directly opposite the world-famous Wehlener Sonnenuhr, the award-winning wines recognized by the Mundus Vini wine prize and the AWC Vienna are offered alongside specialties from the winemaker's kitchen.
