Viewing platform in the vineyards of Bernkastel

High above the old town centre of Bernkastel, there is a viewing platform in the middle of the vineyards.

From up here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the town, Landshut Castle, the Moselle valley and the vineyards. In addition to various hiking trails, the cycle route of the ‘Moselhöhenradweg - Die Sonnenuhrtour’ also passes by here. The vineyard theme trail ‘Eidechse liebt Riesling’ (Lizard loves Riesling) also runs here, which explains the history of viticulture in a varied and entertaining way.
