New Jewish cemetery

The new Jewish cemetery was established in 1876 about 160 meters above Zeltingen in a forest for the villages of Zeltingen and Rachtig.

A cemetery wall was built in 1879. This part of the cemetery contains over 60 graves (Mazewot). Between 1927 and 1929, an extension of the cemetery followed. This section is fenced and has five gravestones remaining. The last burials took place in the late 1930s.
