Kurpark Kueser Plateau
The park on the Kueser Plateau offers a wide range of leisure activities, including play and sports areas, walking and hiking trails, green spaces and gardens, in addition to the spa guest centre.
The Kueser Plateau with its spa gardens ("Kurpark") is characterised as a natural therapy and adventure area. Walking and hiking trails, play and sports facilities, gardens and sunbathing lawns as well as a climate pavilion and skywalk with a marvellous view over the town of Bernkastel-Kues are part of the extensive range of leisure activities on offer. Located in the middle of the spa gardens is the spa guest centre, the place to go for information and tips on leisure activities for all rehab patients and day trippers. Concerts and lectures take place here, a café & bistro provides refreshments and there is a mini-golf course, outdoor chess, table tennis and boules court in the outdoor area.

The elements of the spa park
The remedy "air" is reflected in the design and theme of the park to offer therapeutic and ecological added value. There is plenty of space for walking, lingering in the fresh air, relaxing on the many seating options and enjoying nature or being active in sports.
Entrance portals
Colorful blossoming trees, lush planting and attractive seating invite you to take a moment of silence and pause right at the entrance to the spa gardens.
Herbal staircase with viewing platform
The viewing platform provides step-free, barrier-free access and offers a unique view over the spa gardens. Aromatic plants, such as culinary or aromatic herbs, have been planted along the path, which offer a special experience and sensations at all times of the year and can thus have a positive influence on your entire organism.
Mist garden with relaxation area
Thanks to the underlying planting concept, the sunken garden offers a good microclimate. The integrated mist garden has a therapeutic effect. There are barrier-free seating areas in the depression.
Moor garden
Next to the pond with its lively flora and fauna is the moor garden in the area of the silted-up eastern pond. This rounds off the water-oriented part of the open space. Moors are ecologically important landscape elements and provide a unique habitat for rare animal and plant species. They are also effective carbon reservoirs and have a high nature experience value.
