House Caspari

The house Caspari is located on the Mosel in the wine village Wehlen on the left bank of the Mosel. Wehlen is a district of Bernkastel-Kues and home of famous wines like the "Wehlener Sonnenuhr".
The lintel of this enchanting half-timbered house is decorated with a pretzel, which allows the conclusion that this picturesque house once housed a bakery. Caspari House, which is directly adjacent to the Old Church, was built in 1720. Today, after extensive restoration, it serves as a meeting place: the small hall on the upper floor is used for celebrations and seminars.
