Emperor oak
Maring-Noviand
The Kaisereiche is located in the forest area, right next to the paragliding launch site Maring Noviand. From there, you have a wide view of the original Moselle valley.
On January 18, 1871, the Emperor Oak was planted in memory of the founding of the empire. Today, the oak is about 20 meters tall and has a circumference of 140 cm at a height of 1.30 m. The base of the trunk is surrounded by a small stone wall.
