Castle Landshut-Express

Get on board and off we go with the yellow vintage bus to Landshut Castle and back again. Gorgeous views included.

The ride in the yellow vintage bus is already an experience: right through the steep vineyards, past the St. Anna Chapel with its Stations of the Cross, it continues to the castle ruins. Here you will experience a unique view over the city and the impressive Moselle Valley – an unforgettable experience that you will cherish for a long time. A restaurant café invites you to linger in the courtyard.

The return journey goes past the old youth hostel above the castle, continuing through the romantic Bernkasteler Schweiz. Here, the “Tiefenbach” winds through the valley, gnawing through a massive mountain ledge and crashing down as a roaring waterfall. Steep above the waterfall, you will see the “Tinkeler Heiligenhäuschen” (Maria-Hilf-Kapelle) on a rocky outcrop. On the main road, you will go through the Burgbergtunnel back to Bernkastel.

Route descent ("Burg Landshut" - "Am Gestade")
Daily during the season at 20 minutes past each hour from 11:20 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. from the stop in front of Burg Landshut.
