Andeler Gold river

Through a beautiful forest landscape flows the Goldbach in Andel. It springs from the nearby Monzelfeld and flows into the Moselle in Andel.

In the clear water, some gold coins were reportedly found in the stream, which was still called Andeler Bach at the time, in the 18th and 19th centuries. Even in 1979 and 1984, 5 nuggets were supposedly discovered in the riverbed. A relaxed walk along the stream is still worth it today - even though gold finds are rather unlikely.
