Winery Hotel St. Michael
Wintrich
The winery hotel St. Michael can be found in the holiday resort of Wintrich. The winery was first mentioned in a document in the year 1602.
Today, Michael Quint runs the winery. Five hectares of vineyards are operated in the locations of Wintrich and Piesport: Wintricher Ohligsberg, Wintricher Großer Herrgott, and Piesporter Treppchen. The vines in the Piesporter Treppchen vineyard were planted in 1915 by the great-grandparents of the current owners. The wines are aged in the historic cellar in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels. Feel free to visit the cellar during a wine tasting. Or you can spend your Mosel vacation at the family’s winery hotel.
