Winery Gunther Matheus

The Matheus winery in Piesport on the Moselle is a family-owned business. In summer, intensive leaf work is carried out, and in autumn, the grapes are given the necessary time to ripen.

After a controlled fermentation, the wines are racked off the coarse lees and continued to be stored on the fine lees until bottling. This results in wines of the finest quality with high aging potential.
The goal of the winery is to awaken the soul of the wine, to bring out its extraordinary personality, remarkable charm, and honest character.
