The hunt is accompanied by entertaining facts about the history of wine and the rich past of Bernkastel-Kues, which provide knowledge and also many chuckles.
And of course, enjoyment is not overlooked: As a reward for each solved puzzle, participants are treated to a glass of wine (0.1 l) at each location, totaling 5 glasses of wine in 4 different bars. Wine hunt: €39.00 per adult
Lemonade hunt: €35.00 per child
When does the wine or lemonade hunt start and how long does it last?
You can start the hunt on the selected date anytime between 12:00 and 20:00. How long you play is entirely up to you. Since you're not playing against the clock, you can generally take as much time as you want. However, the game automatically ends at a specific time on the same day. You should plan for a minimum of two hours for the hunt.
Can you combine the wine and lemonade hunt within a single game?
Yes, this is possible. For example, if you're a family consisting of two adults and two children, you can simply add two tickets for the wine hunt and two tickets for the lemonade hunt to your cart. At the beginning of your game, you'll decide whether you want to play the adult puzzles or the children’s puzzles. The combination of wine and lemonade hunt is therefore not only interesting for families but also for couples and groups where some participants do not wish to drink alcohol.
How many people can play per start slot?
The group size ranges from 2 to 15 people. For larger groups, two directly consecutive time slots can simply be booked with separate email addresses. This way, there are two games in the system, but the route and puzzles are the same, allowing you to embark on the adventure together.
Is it known in advance which venue the hunt starts and ends at?
Yes, the starting venue is the "Alte Moselbahnhof" in Bernkastel. Since the hunt is designed as a circular tour, this is also the ending venue. The three venues in between are not known and will be identified during the game through puzzles.
Is bringing dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs can be brought along.
In which languages is the hunt offered?
The hunt is offered in German. An English version is in the works.
Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 2 days before the event date.
A cancellation fee of 100% will apply from 2 days before the event date.
