Vineyard tour with wine tasting
Geller-Steffen pure. The special experience event of the Geller-Steffen winery centered around steep slope viticulture.
Explore viticulture in the world-famous vineyard of Wehlener Sonnenuhr and enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of Wehlen, the river, and the nature reserve of Streuobstwiesen. Geller-Steffen pure offers you a more than individual and intensive insight into the culture and tradition of steep slope viticulture. During the tour, you will receive extensive information about various training methods of the vine, quality-enhancing measures, ecological pest control, and the process of selective hand harvesting.
Up close and tailored to you, during the approximately 2-hour vineyard tour under the expert guidance of Achim Geller (Dipl.-Ing. viticulture and oenology), you will explore the cultivation of Riesling in the world-famous steep slope of Wehlener Sonnenuhr.
Subsequently, during the guided tasting of Geller-Steffen collection wines, the enormous potential of Riesling vines in steep slopes will be showcased. A tasting sequence individually tailored to your personal taste (duration approx. 1.5 hours) will take you into the world of perhaps the most versatile grape variety: whether delicate-elegant or internationally powerful, whether dry or lusciously sweet – discover your favorites from the Geller-Steffen collection in an extensive wine tasting with many interesting tips and information.

- Commented wine tasting of at least 5 Riesling wines from the Geller-Steffen collection at the winery (approx. 1.5 hours)
The event will be held in German.
Bringing dogs is not permitted.
Look forward to a tailored tasting with at least five selected wines – the final selection will depend entirely on your taste preferences.
The event starts at 2 PM and lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours.
The minimum number of participants is 2 people.
The vineyard tour can only take place under suitable weather conditions. On-site, we are happy to coordinate with you and discuss alternatives upon request.

A free cancellation is possible until the day before the event. After that, 100% cancellation fees will apply.
Payment is made on-site at the Geller-Steffen winery. Payment can be made either in cash or by card.
