Steep Slopes & Character – Wine Hiking with Tasting in the Vineyard
The wine hike is just the beginning. A short shared path takes you from the winery into the vineyards above Neumagen-Dhron. Away from everyday life, towards a place where the Moselle unveils its full effect. Once you reach the top, you won’t find a classic tasting, but rather a moment that stays with you: you sit with a view over the steep slopes, a glass in hand, and taste a sparkling or perl wine as well as 6 selected wines from my winery.
The tasting is accompanied by a selection of cheese, olives, and small snacks that complement the wines and round off the experience. There’s no rigid pairing, but uncomplicated enjoyment that allows room for personal discoveries.
It’s not about technical terms or correct answers. It’s about experiencing the wine where it’s made – with the landscape in sight and a sense of why it tastes the way it does. You can ask questions, share thoughts or simply enjoy.
The atmosphere is intentionally relaxed, personal, and open. Small groups ensure that there is space for real conversations. This tasting is not a lecture, but a shared experience – genuine, approachable, and with a view you won’t forget anytime soon.

Please note that the tour will only take place with a minimum number of participants of 10 people. Groups may be combined for this purpose.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour at short notice if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 2 days before the event date.
From 2 days before the event date, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
