Sparkling wine tasting with snack plate and guided hike

First, a lot of interesting information about the process of traditional bottle fermentation and the riddling of the yeasts is explained clearly during the cellar tour. Guests learn about the necessity of the riddling racks.

During a sparkling wine tasting, 5 different varieties can be sampled. A hearty platter of snacks is served for strength.

Afterwards, a guided hike through the vineyards leads up to the landmark "Wintricher Großer Herrgott". From there, the view over the Moselle landscape can be enjoyed.

The beautiful view is rounded off with wine or Federweißer and onion or Flammkuchen.
