Ewald Arenz comes to Bernkastel-Kues with “Five, Six, Seven, Eight”
A bestselling author, an moving novel, and a special atmosphere: In October, the cultural office of the city of Bernkastel-Kues invites you to a reading with Ewald Arenz in the premises of the Sparkasse. After the great success of the event with Arno Strobel, the Sparkasse is once again the event partner.
Ewald Arenz, a high school teacher from Nuremberg and an award-winning author, presents his novel released in June “Five, Six, Seven, Eight” . In it, he tells the touching story of 60-year-old tap dancer Anton, who is put on the professional sidelines. In this situation, he reflects on his life, on aging, and whether he has lived his life correctly. And again and again, his thoughts revolve around his first great love Jo, who vanished without a trace back then. His daughter Emma, who has taken over his job at the theater, helps him in the search.
An evening for everyone who loves good stories – personal, relatable, and with an author who knows how to captivate his audience.
