As soon as the first "dominosteine" are in the supermarkets, right after the summer holidays, we enter Christmas mode.
The "reflective" season, filled with little elf gifts from the little horror shop and visits to Christmas markets, where we drink so much mulled wine
that we find felt things beautiful.
The company Christmas party is usually an unwelcome obligation, until the first person sits on the copier.
The likelihood that the Advent wreath will cause no damage for 4 weeks is highly unlikely, and the tree leaves romantic
traces on the solid wood parquet. Despite everything, we love Christmas, and that's a good thing.
Sia Korthaus joyfully and satirically illustrates the big and small obstacles we have to overcome before the longed-for holidays. Christmas songs
interpreted differently are just as much part of the program as Grandma Emmi, who takes the festival of love a bit too literally.
