Season opening of the 5th season in Bernkastel-Kues

Traditionally, the KV Huckebein ceremoniously opens the session on the 11th of November every year.
Accompanied by the Bernkastel citizen's guard, the groups, the board, and the prince couples parade through the streets of the city to Karlsbader Platz.

Here, at 4:11 p.m., the official proclamation of the new prince couples and the presentation of the current club order will begin.

Afterwards, the domPiraten will play, who should be well-known to every fool from the region. To the sounds of Kölsch party music, everyone can dance, sway, and sing along loudly. There will also be toasts with mulled wine, sparkling wine, or Kölsch from the barrel. Of course, the club has also taken care of hunger in between.

With the opening of the session, the fool's schedule of KV Huckebein begins. All sessions for young and old will be held in the goods hall at the Forum in Kues. On the two Saturdays, the 16th and 24th of January, all active members are invited to the gala sessions starting at 7:11 p.m. Ticket pre-sales for the gala sessions begin on the 14th of November 2026 at the Sanitätshaus Göbel, Matthias-Ries-Str. 19 in Kues. On the following Sundays, the 17th and 24th of January 2027, all children are warmly invited to the children's session starting at 2:11 p.m. The pre-sale of the children's sessions takes place on the 25th of November 2026 at the Sanitätshaus Göbel.
