Reading – ‘They brought us hope’ by Reiner Engelmann

Short texts that deal with the history of persecution and oppression of minorities.

In remembrance of November 9, 1938, a reading will also take place this year.  On Sunday, November 9, 2026, Stefan Kritten will read in the former synagogue in Bernkastel,  Burgstraße 7a.

Among them are texts that were created in prison or in concentration camps, but also narratives and stories that authors wrote either before the time of terror or after experiencing the dictatorship.
