Festive organ concert for Christ the King's Sunday with clarinet & saxophone – atmospheric sound colors in the church.

Christopher Schmitt began learning piano at the age of 6 and started his first organ lessons at the age of 15. After completing the D-training in organ and his vocational training as a draftsman, he completed the C-training (specialization qualification in organ) at the Bishop's Church Music Office in Trier in 2021. After three years of working at the parishes in Wittlich, St. Markus and St. Bernhard, he has been a church musician since February 2023, alongside his work as a draftsman, in the current parish of St. Maria & St. Vinzenz Klausen, focusing on the parish and pilgrimage church Maria Heimsuchung Klausen.

Ulrich Junk - Clarinet, Saxophone studied at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf with Professor Hermut Gießer and received chamber music inspiration and training from Professor Fritz Essmann. He attended masterclasses with Franz Klein and Sabine Meyer, performed both solo and in ensembles at home and abroad, and is actively and successfully engaged as an educator and musician. He has been working for over twenty years as a clarinet and saxophone teacher at the music school of the Bernkastel-Wittlich district. Currently, he is making music in chamber ensembles in the "UBI-Trio" and the "NOVALIS Wind Quintet".
