Mülheim Cultural Circle: Hartwin Dhoore Trio – unfolding

Melodic accordion folk meets cello & violin: The Hartwin Dhoore Trio enchants with intense sound worlds.

Hartwin Dhoore Trio
The diatonic accordionist and composer Hartwin Dhoore has been captivating an international audience for many years with his melodic, often melancholic instrumental music. His clear lines and atmospheric harmonies leave much room for individual images and emotions.
With cellist Flavia Escartin and violinist Pavel Souvandjiev, he brings together two versatile musicians who creatively blend different styles. The trio moves effortlessly between classical, folk, and world music – supported by three strong personalities who inspire and challenge each other musically. The combination of Hartwin's memorable melodies and the original, dynamic arrangements by Flavia and Pavel creates a multifaceted soundscape that unfolds special intensity live.
Flavia Escartin, half Spanish and half Belgian, initially received classical training and later studied jazz in Amsterdam. In addition to her diverse artistic projects, she also composes film music and performs internationally with her sister as the "Escarteen Sisters".
Pavel Souvandjiev, with Bulgarian-Belgian roots, draws from the musical tradition of the Balkans. His travels to Bulgaria regularly inspire him to create new compositions. After his classical training, he founded the trio Aerokorda in Ghent, which captivates audiences across Europe with energetic instrumental music.
