The Moselle town of Bernkastel-Kues is one of the most popular destinations for excursions and vacations. One reason for this is certainly the old town with its numerous half-timbered houses and historic buildings.
The cobblestone medieval marketplace with the Renaissance town hall, the pointed house, and the Michael fountain, the towering steeple of St. Michael's parish church, and the many narrow and winding alleys make every visit an experience - and a city tour is almost a must.
