EDUCATION WINE - DEINHARD's in Bernkastel, more than a hotel....
Isn't wine always present in art, literature, the world of pleasure and, for many, also as a matter of course in daily life, simply as an alcoholic beverage to which there are numerous alternatives? But what do we know about it? Its essence, its nature, its origin, its connection to the sensual and surreal world? Why does wine play a role in myths, iconic music, architecture, gnosticism, religions? In the world of pleasure? In natural medicine? Since the beginning of July 2023, a guided tour has been created in the historic buildings dating from 1658 for guests of the hotel and visitors to DEINHARD's, holidaymakers and travellers, which looks at these questions: "Education Wine"®, an experience of a special kind, unique in our country. In several years of planning and construction, rooms were created with art, videos, films and historical exhibits that were previously only known to a few.
