How true! And so the programme of the Moselle music festival builds musical bridges across ideological, religious and linguistic borders. International artists from Turkey, Denmark, England, Switzerland, Russia, the USA and Finland play music side by side with national and regional performers. On a stretch of more than 150 kilometres along the Moselle, more than 60 events are hosted at vineyards, churches, chapels and monasteries, ruins and castles and even in the open air. 2016 will see a number of new discoveries, such as the old wool factory in Moselkern and Villa Reverchon in Trier. The popular Opus series (music in vineyards) was expanded to include the Schloss Lieser vineyard and the Domäne Ruppert vineyard in Schengen/Luxemburg.
