The famous son of the town
The famous theologist Nikolaus Cusanus was born in Kues. The house where he grew up is nowadays used as a place for events and exhibitions. The St. Nikolaus-Hospital, which was founded by him, is used as a retirement-home. It is possible to visit the chapel of St. Nikolaus Hospital. The famous library can only be visited during a guided tour.
