Willi Haag wine estate is located in Brauneberg holiday resort in the heart of the Middle Moselle. It proudly looks back on a nearly 500-year-old tradition. The small, half-timbered house in the Moselweinstraße from the 15th century, the oldest house in the village, is proof of this. Right behind it, partly carved into the rocks, is the deep vaulted cellar. All year round, ideal conditions for the maturation and storage of wines prevail here. In 1997, Marcus Haag, grandson of Willi Haag, took over the family business. In the steep south-facing slopes of Brauneberg, a lot of manual work is required; the same goes for the grape harvest. The assortment ranges from dry to lusciously sweet Riesling. The wines are characterized by their fine mineral, clear and delicately fruity nature, which is why they count as ideal summer wines. They can also be stored for several years.
